It’s hard to believe that we are nearly at the end of the 2005 – 2007 triennium!

We have found that in this triennium, GPs participating in the SPHERE program can be categorised into 4 main areas of need:

We are continuing to provide GPs with as much opportunity as possible to participate in our training modules, keeping in mind GP demand for the various levels of requirements to be obtained in order to access incentive items associated with the Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative.

Level Two ongoing training opportunities – new program for 2007

In particular, we have had much demand for a program which caters for GPs who registered for Level Two in 2002-2004 and are therefore required to participate in 6 hours of an accredited Level Two activity during the 2005-2007 triennium so that their Level Two registration is maintained. We will have a new online training program commencing in September 2007 which will specifically meet the Level Two ongoing requirements for these GPs. Currently, we are collecting expressions of interest from GPs who are Level Two registered so that we can notify them when the 2007 meeting dates become available.
